Health Guarantee

All the puppies that we sell are to the best of our knowledge healthy. We offer the following health guarantee:

You have five days from purchase date to take your puppy to a vet of your choice for an examination. Should the Veterinarian state in writing that the puppy was not fit for sale, we will replace that puppy with a puppy of equal value. Should the Veterinarian state that the puppy has any physical problems that are life threatening, the puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal value.

 

In the event of the death of the puppy due to a contagious disease you have seven days from the date of purchase for a licensed Veterinarian to state, in writing, that it was a disease caused from our home. Consequently, we will replace your puppy with a healthy puppy of equal value.

Hip and Eye Guarantee-Your pup is guaranteed to be free of hip dysplasia and PRCD for a period of 24 months from date of purchase.  To validate this guarantee, you must be the original owner, your puppy/dog has not been bred, he/she is not overweight and has not been allowed to do an excess amount of over-exercising, and has been fed a high quality dog food.

Hip evaluation must be done by OFA and show that hips are moderatly to severe dysplastic and eye evalution must be done by a veterinary opthalmologist. In the event of either of these, the purchase price of the puppy will be refunded if desired by the owner.

We do not cover bills that are incurred while the puppy is in your care, such as, Parasites,  accidental death, Hypoglycemia (due to stress in your home, remedied by a teaspoon of syrup and rest).

All Veterinarian confirmed dead or unfit puppies must be returned with complete vet paperwork to us before any credit is given. In the event that a puppy is not currently available, we will replace with a puppy of equal value from a future litter.

 
All Veterinarian bills are the responsibility of the purchaser! 

Our puppies are well cared for in a healthy, loving, fun family environment. We hope that your puppy will find as much love in his/her new home. We encourage responsible animal care, please find a good vet for your new puppy. They will have had their first shots and worm treatments when they leave our home.

What do I feed my new puppy?

Your new puppy has been eating dry food for about two weeks now. It is important that a change in diet for your puppy occur gradually in order to avoid upset stomach or diarrhea. Therefore, you will receive a small bag of puppy food when you take your puppy home.

 

What about shots?

Your puppy will have his/her first shots before going home with you. At six weeks of age, we administer Nobivac-Canine 1(Galaxy DA2PPv) which is for the prevention of Distemper, Hepatitis, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza and Parovirus. We encouarge new puppy owners to schedule an appointment with your vet prior to picking up your puppy.

 

Do you worm your puppies?

Absolutely! All puppies are treated with Strongid wormer at 2 weeks of age. At 4 weeks and 6 weeks they are give a 3 day regimen of Panacur to treat for worms and parasites.

Can we visit the kennel and/or puppies?

Visits to our kennel are allowed with a scheduled appointment only. If we have newborn puppies, you will only be allowed a quick peak at them. Puppies cannot be held by anyone visiting the kennel until they are 5 weeks old and we ask that you do not visit other kennels on the day you plan to visit ours. We do everything possible to insure that we have happy, healthy puppies for you to take home with you. If you plan to visit our kennel when we have young puppies, please let us know how many people are planning to visit. We prefer to keep the number to no more than 4 at one time.

When can I take my puppy home?

Your puppy will be ready to go to his/her new home at the age of 7 weeks.
